In 2026 the Roc Marathon started on Friday in five waves, from 7:30 to 8:30. The organizer calls it a "maxi Roc d'Azur": it takes in most of Sunday's course and adds 45 km at the foot of the Rocher de Roquebrune, around Valdingarde. The 2026 race went down the Fournel descent, over the Col de Valdingarde and the Col du Bougnon, and came down the Car Brûlé descent around km 70. After the bad weather earlier in the week, the trails were very technical and very muddy. Davide Foccoli won in 4:32:17 and Léna Gérault in 5:26:54. The organizer rates it 4 out of 5 for technical difficulty.
There were 6 feed stations and 4 mechanical assistance points, but their places aren't published. The cutoffs were 10:30 at km 19, 13:15 at km 41.6, 15:30 at km 64.2, 17:05 at km 81.4 and 17:55 at km 89, and you have to have left the feed station by then. The race counts for UCI points, and with Sunday's Roc d'Azur it makes the Xtreme Roc pack, ranked by stage and overall.
