Trail 100 Andorra course maps and aid stations

Five races from the village of Ordino, from a 10K above the valley to an Ultra 105K that goes round the whole country.

June 10 to 13, 2027 Ordino, Andorra

Trail 100 Andorra is a UTMB World Series event based in Ordino, in the north of Andorra. Every race starts and finishes on the Plaça de l'Església. The 2027 edition runs June 10 to 13: the Trail 80K on Friday, the Ultra 105K and Trail 50K on Saturday, and the Trail 21K and 10K on Sunday.

The Ultra 105K takes in the whole country, over Comapedrosa, Andorra's highest peak, and down through Andorra la Vella. The 80K heads north to Ordino Arcalís, then east by Sorteny and Ransol to Canillo and south to Andorra la Vella. The three shorter races stay around Ordino and La Massana.

The map shows the 2026 courses and aid stations. The race pages still link the 2026 course files, and the 2027 runner guide isn't out yet. Andorra is outside the EU roaming zone, so data on a foreign plan is billed as international. Download the map before you go: GPS shows where you are without a signal or a data plan.

This is an unofficial guide: Goat Maps isn't affiliated with Trail 100 Andorra by UTMB. Check the official site before you enter or race.

The organizer calls it a tour of the entire country. You climb out of Ordino past Refugi Pla de l'Estany to the top of Comapedrosa, Andorra's highest peak at about 2,940 m, before the Comapedrosa refuge. From Coll de la Botella it's 15.2 km, mostly downhill, to Parc Central in Andorra la Vella, the first life base. Then you climb again by Fontverd and Refugi de l'Illa to the second, Hotel Pic Maià on Port d'Envalira, at km 63.

The night takes you down to Incles and across Pont Tibetà, the Tibetan bridge the race guide calls the second longest in the world, then up to Sorteny and the last 12 km back to Ordino. For 2027 the race page gives 105 km and 6,800 m of climbing. The 2026 time chart on the map runs 105.9 km.

The 10K climbs to Creu de Noral, which the organizer calls a panoramic balcony over the north of the country, with about 500 m of climbing in all. The one aid station is at La Cortinada. It's open to runners from age 14, and the organizer pitches it at first-time trail runners and the friends and family of runners in the longer races.

Registration

Entry is online through UTMB. For 2027, UTMB Index holders had a 48 hour window from July 7, 2026, and general registration opened on July 9. Fees rise in tiers. When this page was checked the current tier was €61.17 for the 10K, €126.97 for the 21K, €265.47 for the 80K and €315.10 for the 105K. General entry to the 50K had sold out, and the only places left were in Nirvana's Elevated Experiences packages.

The conditions on the page are still the 2026 ones. Entries can't be transferred to another runner or deferred to the next year, and there was no waiting list. You can move down a distance until three weeks before the race, without a refund. The 21K and 10K aren't refundable, and the longer races refund 60% up to four months out and 30% up to two months out.

You need a federation licence or private insurance that covers the race in Andorra, or else the organizer's accident insurance, bought when you register. The European Health Insurance Card isn't accepted in Andorra.

Getting to Ordino

Andorra has no airport. The nearest is Andorra-La Seu airport, just over the border in La Seu d'Urgell, with flights to Madrid. Barcelona is 208 km away and Toulouse 185 km, by the organizer's figures, and coaches run from both airports to Andorra la Vella. By train, L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre in France is the nearest station; from Spain, the high-speed trains stop at Lleida.

Parking in Ordino is extremely limited. Runners ride a free shuttle from Andorra la Vella, AnyósPark and La Massana, booked in advance on the registration platform, and supporters can buy a €5 pass for the same buses before the event. The L6 public bus also runs from Andorra la Vella to Ordino. Bibs are handed out at the Andorra Congrés Centre in Ordino, in person with ID and your registration QR code, and not on race day.

Crewing and pacing

The 105K and 80K allow personal assistance: one person per runner, with the wristband you get at bib pick-up, in the zone set aside at the aid station and carrying at most a 30 liter bag. In the 105K that's Parc Central in Andorra la Vella and Hotel Pic Maià. In the 80K it's Canillo and Parc Central. The 105K gets two spare bags, one for each life base, and the 80K one, for Canillo. The 50K page marks Coll de la Botella as an assistance point, but the 2026 guide gave 50K runners no assistance wristband, so ask at bib pick-up.

There are no pacers. Running with anyone not in the race, outside the marked zones near the aid stations, earns a penalty. Supporters who want to see you on the way can drive to Coll de la Botella and to Pic Maià at the top of Port d'Envalira, or walk about 2 km from the Coll d'Ordino road to Pont Tibetà.

Weather and what to carry

June in Ordino averages highs around 21°C and lows around 6.5°C, with about 100 mm of rain over nine days, by the 1981 to 2010 averages in Wikipedia's climate table. The long courses spend hours above 2,000 m, and the organizer asks you to be ready for night, wind, cold, fog, rain or snow at altitude.

The organizer can make a cold weather kit or a hot temperatures kit mandatory, depending on the forecast. Aid stations hand out no cups, so carry your own, and bring a bowl and cutlery if you want the hot meals. Your phone has to stay on with LiveTrail running and international roaming enabled: airplane mode is a 15 minute penalty. If you take poles, you carry them from the start.

Trail 100 Andorra FAQ

When is Trail 100 Andorra 2027?

June 10 to 13, 2027, in Ordino. The Trail 80K starts at 8:00 on Friday the 11th, the Ultra 105K at 6:00 and the Trail 50K at 7:30 on Saturday the 12th, and the Trail 21K at 8:00 and the Trail 10K at 9:00 on Sunday the 13th.

Is Trail 100 Andorra a Western States qualifier?

Yes. Finishing the Ultra 105K in under 30 hours qualifies you for the Western States lottery. The 2026 race counts for the 2027 Western States, and the 2027 race for 2028.

How many Running Stones does Trail 100 Andorra give?

4 for the Ultra 105K, 3 for the Trail 80K, 2 for the Trail 50K and 1 for the Trail 21K. The 10K gives none. You need at least one Running Stone and a valid UTMB Index to enter the UTMB World Series Finals lottery.

Does the Ultra 105K go over Comapedrosa?

Yes. The 105K climbs to the summit of Comapedrosa, Andorra's highest peak at about 2,940 m, between Refugi Pla de l'Estany and the Comapedrosa refuge. The 50K passes both refuges but doesn't go to the top.

Can you have a pacer at Trail 100 Andorra?

No. Being accompanied by anyone outside the race, beyond the marked zones near the aid stations, is against the rules. In the 105K and 80K one person can help you at the assistance points.

Will my phone work in Andorra?

Andorra is outside the EU roaming zone, so calls and data on a foreign plan are billed as international. Andorra Telecom sells prepaid plans. The race requires a phone with international roaming on for the whole race, so check your plan before you travel and take the map offline.
